Bono Holdings in the Community
A big part of believing in rural Saskatchewan is believing in the community at large. Bono Holdings proudly supports many local happenings in the southwest Saskatchewan area. We are proud to pitch in to help make our community better and brighter.
4H
4H clubs are still flourishing in the southwest, with many youngsters competing to show the finest calf or colt. Driven by the premise "Learn to do by Doing", 4H clubs are led by experts within the community and are an integral part of raising the next generation of rural Saskatchewan residents. Bono Holdings is a loyal supporter of the annual 4H beef auction, often purchasing many of the best beef steers in the ring.
Ducks Unlimited
Brian and Bono Holdings are enthusiastic supporters of the Ducks Unlimited association, a group dedicated to preserving the wetlands that migratory birds thrive on. As a part of the Prairie Pothole Region, southwest Saskatchewan benefits greatly from their efforts to rebuild wetlands, restoring grassland, and placement of protective easements to ensure that our area continues to enjoy the robust ecological diversity it has now. Every year Bono Holdings proudly donates items for auction to Ducks Unlimited.
Saskatchewan Hospice
This organization works to increase the quality of care available to our palliative care patients, focussing on comfort, dignity and hope and a family centred context. As our rural population ages, more and more citizens of the southwest are touched by the good work that the Palliative Care Association provides.
